Online Physio Clinic

Video Appointments

At Thorpes Physiotherapy, we are pleased to offer our patients video appointments with a member of our expert team. Online Physiotherapy has been proven to be as effective as face to face care for certain conditions

In this 30 minute webinar we share our experience of Virtual Physiotherapy and the feedback of what are patients have told us.  If you are unsure if Virtual Physiotherapy will work for you I encourage you to watch it.  Click on the image below to watch!

What is it?

Our video consultation service uses award winning video meeting technology to conduct a video based consultation between you and one of our Physiotherapists.

It is straight forward to set up and you can use virtually any smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer that has a camera, microphone and speakers, headset or earphones.

Who is it for?

Video consultations are ideal for open-minded patients who can’t attend a face to face appointment. This may be due to a variety of reasons including having a busy or demanding job, mobility problems, childcare issues, underlying health issues or you may live out of area.

At Thorpes Physiotherapy we offer video consultations for people who have Musculoskeletal, Neurological or Womens Health problems. It is therefore highly likely that we will have a suitably skilled Physiotherapist ideal for your particular problem.

Rena Tribe, a 65 year old lady from Liphook, recently finished a course of Virtual Physiotherapy and kindly sent the following testimonial through to us:-

One week into Covid-19 Lockdown I hurt my shoulder and had to resort to painkillers to alleviate the pain. On consulting my Pharmacist regarding pain relief he recommended that I contact Thorpes Physiotherapy. I was slightly sceptical as to how much I could possibly benefit from a video consultation but as I was strictly self-isolating, I had no other option. The whole process was handled efficiently, professionally and very sympathetically. An assessment was done and explained, a programme of exercises demonstrated and put in place and weekly appointments set up. After just a couple of weeks I felt a huge improvement, my mobility had returned and I was then given exercises to improve mobility and strength. The whole process went very very smoothly and I have to particularly thank Jonathan Smith for helping me back to full recovery. Nothing was too much trouble. The Zoom consultations worked well which I could do from the comfort of home maintaining isolation. I have no hesitation in recommending the Thorpes Physiotherapy Clinic.’
