Ben Gallagher is the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist at Thorpes Physiotherapy. He qualified from the University of Southampton in 2000 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy and, in 2021, graduated from the University of Birmingham with an MSc in Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy. Following the research undertaken for his MSc dissertation, Ben is currently preparing a study on recurrent lower back pain for publication.
Before joining Thorpes Physiotherapy full-time, Ben spent 15 years working for the Ministry of Defence as a Band 7 Clinical Lead Physiotherapist. This demanding role provided him with extensive experience in assessing, treating and rehabilitating a wide range of complex musculoskeletal injuries and persistent pain conditions.
