Hydrotherapy is a series of exercises performed in water, lead by a qualified physiotherapist. The aim is to provied a therapeutic benefit. As hydrotherapy is performed in water, the increase in buoyancy reduces the load bearing on the joints. This can be especially useful for arthritic problems and also for neurological rehabilitation. We are fortunate to be able to use the pool at Hampshire Lakes Retirement Village for hydrotherapy sessions.
